My biggest reason that I run is because I LOVE how it makes me feel. I never want to feel like I must run even though I don’t really want to, and even though this run was not my best I really felt grateful even when it was burning that I now have access to a treadmill again.
After I finally finished I did some gentle yoga and the post-workout high kicked in and made me very very happy. Besides, according to the below article, one must build ones mileage slowly. I definitely nailed that today 😉
Do you love my set up? (Ignore the mess). The sock is necessary at all times whilst on the treadmill otherwise my eyes involuntarily gaze at the time for the entire run and it makes my brain want to throw itself out of my head with boredom.
Putting on my shoes for the first time in ages made me super happy. My lil’ tootsies felt very happy and simultaneously scared for their lives.
