This made me laugh as I headed out for my run. I respect whoever wrote that. And now that song is stuck in my head.
It was a beautiful day for a run. So clear and I didn’t even wear gloves and had to take my snowcoat off halfway through (and wrap it around my waist, I am so cool I know). I didn’t look at my garmin and just cranked some Miley Cyrus and daydreamed about my life.
When I first came to Canada I noticed these cloud trails (I have no idea what their real name is) everywhere. I always wonder what the deal is with them and am too lazy to google it, I thought they were just aeroplane trails but one of my hippy friends on Salt Spring Island told me that it is some conspiracy thing… what, I do not know. Cloud mysteries.
As soon as I got home I (showered) and got straight back in my pjs for cereal. My pjs have been retuned to their former pj glory as I finally bought $12 running pants and stopped running in pyjamas. I am classy for sure.
I also took my antihistamine for the day, I am confused though because it is apparently green according to the box? Isn’t this blue? I have a lot of big questions in my life right now I know.
Three of my favourite things of the day:
These resistance bands. I bought them a little while ago at the superstore and they are amazing. So much fun and so pretty and gosh do they burn.
These yoga gloves, they are amazing and because I have always been too cheap to buy a yoga mat (Postgrad studies are slightly expensive 😉 ) despite having done yoga for seven years I am pretty darn excited about them. Super grippy.
And penguin lollies. These bad boys were great for refueling and almost (almost) too cute to eat.
Favourite lolly (candy)? – I do not discriminate when it comes to lollies, I will eat it all. My absolute favourites have a certain texture though- chewy but not gummy chewy. I don’t really know how else to describe it.
Does anyone else just do yoga on the ground/a towel/the carpet like me? -I’m sure it’s probably not recommended but I have survived so far.
