The one with a long run and a movie date

Walking downtown for brekkie meant that I encountered some of my countrymen. Yes we do have a lot of sheep in New Zealand, although honestly they are not as cute nor as white as the above ones. We actually have a comedy/horror movie called Black Sheep about zombie sheep taking over NZ, and after I saw it for the first time I got chased down my driveway by a tame sheep. I was scared, that shizzle is for real. Having said that I would take a sheep over a goat any day, the number of times I have had to climb a tree to get away from crazy goats, it is not even funny. I am 100% serious about this BTW, I grew up in farmland, #ruralproblems 😉

Please don’t judge me for this photo, I am very tired and as you can see it is pre-coffee and I don’t even know what is going on with my hair. This is what I would call my “crawled out of bed and didn’t have any milk at home and decided to get dressed in 3 minutes and go out for coffee” look.

The pink flowers made it all worth it. They are SO PINK!! 🙂 I am a girl and pink flowers will always make me happy.

I take it back, THIS made it all worth it. Is that not the most glorious French toast you have ever seen?!!?!

Inhaled. Long run ahead  + put divine heavenly French toast in front of me = do not get between me and my plate baby, it’s not gonna be pretty.

The run was beautiful. Vancouver is such a lovely clean city to run around and I love seeing all the other runners and cyclists out enjoying it too. And it was sunny today!!!!! That is a special thing here in winter and I made full use of it: no garmin, just 15 gentle miles taking it all in and breathing the cold winter air.

Movie date with my man. We didn’t go to the movies for the first two months we were dating because we met on Salt Spring Island aka yogi land without a cinema in sight. Making up for it now is the only decent thing to do. Watching the Hunger Games hungry was not an option so I was forced to eat ice cream and sprinkles, man my life is tough.

The Hunger Games was AMAZING. I was beyond obsessed with the books and think they nailed the third movie so far. I am now inspired to get the soundtrack and braid my hair Katniss style and pretend I am her during my run tomorrow. Is that weird?

I was a tad tired when we got home.
Does anyone else fling their stuff all over the house as soon as they get home? – Please tell me I’m not the only one.
Have you read the books/seen the Hunger Games?
Has anyone seen the movie Black Sheep?

nice job on the 15 miles! #jealous
And yes…I fling. Then I clean it up because I can only fling for so long before I snap from the mess.
