First things first. You know your university is awesome when you wake up to this:
FYI, I am studying psychotherapy but apparently my uni offers other stuff as well 😉
After I finished laughing about that, my bestie (aka twinnie/bandel ku/dede/Sally- we kinda call each other a bunch of random stuff) and I went out for lunch before she leaves me and our happy home to go visit her family in Indonesia (selfish, I know). Apparently spooning with me every night isn’t fulfilling her needs- Sydney is very expensive and so it is very common here for people to share a room. Lots of students share with four or even six people in a room, bunk bed style. I personally think it is a little insane, I have NEVER lived somewhere that does this, but sharing with my bestie is a whole other story and a whole lot of fun. We do not actually spoon but we are sharing a huge bed and don’t worry, we have already heard all the hilarious jokes about this from the guys at work.
(Apparently we need to clean the mirror 🙂 ).
I think my painting of us is pretty darn accurate.
Lunch was Malaysian food at Papa Johns (as I’m writing this I’m questioning whether that is the correct name or not). Chicken with pau buns (my favourite), and roti. I spent time in Malaysia a few years ago and I’m not gonna lie, the food is phenomenal.
How amazing is this drinks menu? I love lots of options on a menu, it is like being a queen who has to decide which glorious dish she will sample next.
I got the coconut ice blended thingy, and as I was drinking it I actually got a crazy flashback to my ice fishing days (for my awesome ice-fishing video that I am very proud of go here: https://kiwiyogirunner.com/2015/02/09/the-one-with-the-yogi-food-habits/ ).
Please do not think I am creepy ok? But these two ladies were just gorgeous, obviously great friends, and wearing matching tops. Me and my bestie aspire to be just like them when we are older. We already match each other at every opportunity, one day we might be as cute as this.
What will I do without my twinnie for a whole month?
Who will bring me delicious treats from the kitchen at work?
And attempt to help my stretch out my hamstrings?
And feed me pre-yoga fuel?
And give me minion luggage tags because minions are my favourite things in the world?
I tried to climb in to her suitcase but she very cruelly told me I weigh more than 23kg.
Next time I am coming with, girl.
Have you ever been to Indonesia? Or Malaysia? Or any part of Asia? Details please! – I have been to Malaysia, Singapore, put my foot across the borderline into Indonesia, and spent time in Japan (which is maybe the coolest place ever).
What is your favourite cuisine? – I don’t think why I am asking this because it is actually really hard to choose… I think probably Italian because living in Sicily has biased me towards delicious carbs with cheese.
