The one with procrastination tools and lots of biscuits

There are a whole lot of questionable quality photos in this post so please just brace yourself for it guys. I don’t really know what happened but my true dedication to sharing every detail of my life with you has superseded my shame in taking some truly dodgy quality photos. I am easing you in as it gets progressively worse throughout the post πŸ™‚

After a few hours of morning study and this yoga session, I had brunch with my bestie and our awesome friend from Ecuador. I have convinced her to come to yoga with me on Thursday and I am pretty proud of myself. I pride myself at brainwashing at least one person a week into giving yoga a try. I still have not learnt where to look in the camera, I don’t know why this is so hard for me. Seriously, should I look at the tiny camera button or just at the phone in general? I need to reach out for help because apparently I can’t figure this out myself.

Dessert after brunch? Why not πŸ™‚ These biscuits (cookies) were actually amazing. And bestie made the below jelly with fruit and it was divine.

After that it was uni time. I found my favourite armchair and set up camp for a few hours of fun study times.

Snack time at uni with some questionable milk- let’s just say I did not feel too great after eating this. I later reused the same giant cup for my coffee, I have pretty much put myself on a reinforcement schedule similar to how one would drip feed a hamster (which we actually don’t have down under and I am not entirely sure what it is). It’s bringing out my inner genius (okay that is a lie, it is helping me achieve the bare minimum of wrapping my brain around the material).

Procrastination tools of the day:

This hilarious video of Kangaroos casually scrapping it out in an Australian suburb:

And this article which simultaneously made me laugh and offended me slightly (I am guilty of an alarming number of these):

Everyone knows someone who does Yoga. They usually shop at Wholefoods drive a Prius and lecture everyone else on the benefits of doing Yoga. Here are 7 reasons people who spend hours rolling around on the floor to Indian chanting music are really fucking annoying:
1. They call themselves β€˜Yogis’. Β  Β Read more…..Β

Oops πŸ˜‰

After three glorious hours of class it was rooftop time with bestie: chocolate biscuits and best friend talks while overlooking the city are a good combination.

Has anyone had Tim Tams biscuits before? They are pretty famous down under (and I think they featured on The Kardashians one time) and they are darn good.

What was something awesome that you ate today?Β

What was your workout today?

OMG SALTED CARAMEL TIM TAMS! I am so jealous, NZ never gets the cool stuff :/ I can’t say I have eaten anything as awesome as your biscuits, but breakie is my fave meal of the day so that was pretty darn awesome! And I will be off for a treadmill run later on today. Snow and hail here in NZ and I’m not tough enough to go outside… Lets just say mother nature hasn’t eased us into winter πŸ˜›

    • Ooooh what did you have for brekkie? I’m intrigued! Yeah oz is CRAZY with the Tim Tams, sooo many different flavours! I bought my bestie a whole bag of them for a welcome home present! πŸ™‚ Snow where you live in NZ?? Really? I always tell people it only snows in the mountains in NZ! Aucklander-baised naive perspective??

So we have just gotten Tim Tams and since I just recently (in the last year) got the happy Celiac news…I have never tried them. But they sound delicious. πŸ™‚

The photos looked fine…though the fish eye lookin’ one of your legs is a tad odd…you look like you have the loongest legs in the world and the tiiinest feet. LOL.

I do think the jello with fruit is a bit odd, too but I forgive you. πŸ™‚

You got me again… biscuits! I skipped past the “(cookies)” part of that sentence too fast and was looking all confused at your picture for some rolls (biscuits)! OMG, now I’m a tad frightened kangaroos. They are so tall. That article about the yogis was hilarious too.
I tried out my race outfit on my run today and thought I was all set. Now I’m re-thinking my skirt choice. Maybe I should wear a different one. Decisions, decisions.
Anyhow, have a great day (which is now night for you!)!

    • Haha so funny! I would never call rolls biscuits, that is so weird to me! Kangaroos are super scary right?? They are gigantic! Would not want to get kicked by one! I’m totally about to go stalk you about your skirt choice. Boston is so close now! πŸ™‚
