The one with the shortest post I will probably ever write

Okay that is a lie, I am sure I will absolutely write posts as short or shorter than this. It is called being a student and writing essays at uni sucking every ounce of extra brain power straight out of me.

Anyway, you know how little kids wake up from their nap super happy and smiley and ready to play? I am like that whenever I wake up from a good sleep/nap. Super excited about life and yoga and running and even the multiple essays I am churning out simultaneously for uni. Last night’s sleep definitely made all the difference.

Staying up way too late tearing my hair out doing referencing ie. my least favourite thing ever meant that I decided to give myself a sleep in this morning. I woke up feeling super awesome, and celebrated by taking the morning off. Painting nails, a run, and a making new exciting essay game plan were achieved. I am totally one of those people who thinks that if it is written down in an orderly fashion, I am on top of it and it will all be okay.

And yeah I managed to chip one of my nails before I even took the photo. I think it makes me look more hardcore like that though 🙂

I did a really short run this morning (I didn’t wear my garmin but I am pretty sure it was 1.5 miles at most) and then this yoga session:

The rest of the day involved the game plan you see above (I am nailing it, HA 😉 ), the evening dinner shift which went really fast, and a quick heavenly ice cream after work to finish the day. FYI, this is what hair looks like after a run, a yoga sesh, and waitressing all evening. It is scary I know.

Are you a list writer? – I cannot function without a list.

What was your workout today?

What is the most recent dessert you ate?

It’s okay..sometimes (gasp) I take care of myself. I skip a post. Because taking care of you is more important than posting. Have a great day and good luck with homework!

  3. Oh yes, must have a list for everything. I just don’t understand how people survive without them (my husband)! 4 easy miles today, outside – and I got to wear a tank top. It is a beautiful day here. Getting ready to fly to Boston tomorrow.
Your post was relevant -my daughter was a mess last night, having a melt down (she’s 11!) about an upcoming test and swore she didn’t know the material. Sure enough she woke up this morning and we reviewed the info… she knew it. No big deal!! Sleep does wonders 🙂

    • Aw I’m glad she’s feeling better, sending her good luck for her test! Omg sooooo excited for you to fly to Boston and crush that marathon!! Will be doing a lot of stalking for updates 😉
Haha just the thought of not having a list makes me feel slightly panicked! 🙂
