A flower picked for my by my love, old-school style. Sent by text to me across 8000 miles of ocean, modern-times style. Technology: making long-distance relationships awesome across the globe.
He really knows the way to my heart and also sent me this pic of his friend’s dog Goose… I am OBSESSED. She is like a very fat purple sweater wearing tiny little torpedo.
A super nutritious and chic dinner of a baked bean sandwich while studying…. With the rest of the can finished off during my evening class. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I really have no more shame about anything. I didn’t even eat it out of a bowl like a normal person would- straight out of the can is for people who are hardcore like me 🙂
Stuff that I found on the way home (people in Sydney always put stuff they don’t want on the street for people to take…. as a student I am ALL OVER this). Books that are perfect for me- I have wanted to read Wild and see the movie for ages. And the cook books… 15 minute feasts and last minute meals… yeah, as a student I am ALL OVER that aswell.
And good-as-new Revlon nail polish in a gorgeous colour right after I had been telling my sis about how I don’t have many colours here in Sydney with me… thank you universe. Slapped that bad boy all over my nails as soon as I got home.
This yoga sesh that I am definitely pinky-promise cranking out after I post this- it has been a long twelve hours that I’ve been at uni and my body and mind really need this. Note to self: do not faceplant on the bed immediately after posting.
And to finish in my favourite way, on a minion related note, my dad sent me this article about some awesome kiwi peeps who made minions out of their hay bales.
Kiwi ingenuity at its finest; I am a proud NZ citizen when I see things like this.
What were some things that made your Thursday (or Wednesday for people not in my time zone) a happy one?
Current nail polish colour?
Anyone read/seen Wild? Would you recommend it?
What did you have for dinner?
