Ultimate luxury of the week: spending the morning studying in bed with three galleons of green tea. I also painted my nails as a reward for finishing a massive assignment last night cos that is one of my fave things ever to do and always puts me in the best mood.
….Random throwback to my prior nail polish collection before I got all into non-attachment and narrowed my worldly possessions down to one suitcase … those were some good times when any less than five shades of pink was too little.
And a random bread party at 1am with bestie after I submitted my assignment because why not… She usually comes for a sleepover on Tuesday night and this is awesome timing because it just happens to fall right after she has been in pastry chef school all day 😉
So I’m feeling pretty under the weather as per my standard routine of burning myself out by the end of the uni term (seriously it feels like I was just posting about this at the end of the last term, time is flying it’s CRAY).
Energy boost = NEEDED.

I’m flying home to NZ next week!! BEYOND excited to see my fam and also just soooo excited to faceplant in some green grass and hear the peace of the countryside and the sound of the cows mooing and smell the sweet clear air and silage (HA, I am weird I know).
This was my childhood guys, for realsies. Ps how bomb is my matching red outfit? Werking it.
This is also gonna sound weird (not as weird as silage but still weird) but I am super exited to chill out in the plane for three hours. Shizzle has been go go go lately and I am going to stretch out my legs, crank my awesome new playlist that I still need to make, drink some
delicious below average plane coffee and draw up a schedule for the next term because there is nothing more relaxing to me than being organised. Is that an oxymoron or what?
And speaking of music, I have been love love loving the new Imagine Dragons album, I crank that bad boy all day long and it’s perfect for studying too because for some reason it is somehow mellow enough to not distract me. This song in particular (plus it mentions therapy which makes my nerdy brain happy while I’m studying therapy):
I am also a big fan of turning off all my music and just listening to the wind on a windy day when I study too. I don’t know why but the sound of the wind is super relaxing to me.
Anyway, no idea where this post is going, I think my brain just has too much academic shizzle floating around in it right now so it’s prob best to wrap this up before it gets any more all over the place.
Okay just one (more) little randomness slip up. WANT THESE so bad. ( I don’t even like Tic Tacs that much, that is some clever advertising for sure).
What is your ULTIMATE fave way to relax? –
For me it is painting my nails in bed (I am skilful I know) and making plans for being organised. Okay that is kind of two answers but I made the question so I am allowed to cheat 🙂
