Can we take a second to talk about yet another reason that running is the shizzle to my nizzle?

No matter what frame of mind I am in when I set out, it somehow morphs into a more positive frame of mind while I am running. If I am in a great mood already, I get creepy happy after. Moreover, if I am in an icky mood or frustrated about something, there doesn’t seem to be any extra room for negativity in my brain and the problems and thoughts seem to melt into solutions and positive thinking.
I am pretty sure this is because scientifically speaking, my system is only capable of dealing with so much pain at one time and so the icky/painful thoughts don’t have any space when I am running because they get squeezed out by the physical/mental pain of running (if you are writing an essay on smart stuff like this feel free to reference it as Kiwiyogi epic thoughts, 2015).

Also, I have to admit running is pretty great when you are going by gorgeous Sydney harbours with little boats sailing around being named Smitten and the Australian flag just flapping away in the wind.
And speaking of being smitten…. Had a sweet dinner date with my man for a giant beastie calzone and pizza that rocked our world. We have waited seven months to go out to dinner for realsies instead of having endless coffee dates on skype (the time difference would have made a dinner date too weird)… dating in real life is the way to go people. (Ps. great pic I know… somehow the waiter highlighted my face showcasing my ghostliness and made Curtis all blurry HA).
This bad boy was pretty much all dough, just the way I like it.
Now I’m off for a bestie date with these two adorable little kittens. Most grainy photo ever as per usual. If I was a cooler person I would be ashamed, good thing I am not 🙂
Hope you are having an amazing day!
What delicious carb did you devour today?
Does running change the way you think?
Harbourside run or beach run? – Harbourside all the way for me, more to see and less chance of spraining my crazy little ankles for the millionth time.
