So Sydney has gotten HOT. Like, I am talking 42 degrees C hot (107.6 degrees Fahrenheit). Ouchie.
Having said that I am enjoying being outside in the fresh air lately, especially after being cooped up writing essays inside for an obscene amount of time.
So my latest fitness/running combo obsession? HIIT at the park guys. That’s where it’s at.
One minute of each, twenty second break in between, repeat the circuit four times.
– push-ups (why do push ups destroy me so?!)
– tricep dips
– tuck jumps
Two important things to note- it’s better to do early in the morning if you live in Australia unless you want to be roasted while you do it. I personally get sweaty enough doing HIIT as it is 😉
Secondly, it’s good to embrace looking a bit stupid prancing around doing the tuck jumps. Just roll with it.

Do you love the heat or hate it? I hated it when I first moved to Australia but I am working hard to enjoy it more… I just can’t believe how HOT it is!!! 😮
