Seriously guys. I am craving a beastie long run right now the same way I crave lollies when I’ve gone a day without them in my life (which is a very sad day).

I not only LOVE the feeling of craving a nice beastie sweatylicious run, I actually cultivate it.
Because isn’t being excited for your workout one of the best feelings ever?
Cultivating running cravings goes like this:
1) Focus on strength training/cross training/yoga/pretty much any other exercise for a few days. Absence makes the heart grow fonder am I right?

3) Plan a magical new/exciting/favourite route. This never fails to get me excited about running.
And if ALL OF THAT fails… I get my workout clothes on, get my butt out there and just do it! The more I run, the more I LOVE to run!
How do you induce running cravings?
Do you play any sports?/Which sports did you play in highschool? I played tennis, netball (a NZ/Australia sport similar to basketball), sailing for a little while, and did a million years of ballet and jazz ballet and contemporary. Now I just play tennis sporadically when I’m on holiday and am mainly obsessed with running and yoga and now BBG (more to come on that 😉 ).
