The one with how I fail at blogging ;)

Okay so I might have missed my blogiversary in January. Lol.

Basically I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a year?! Sometimes I’ve posted every day (or twice a day ☺️) and sometimes it’s gotten MAJOR sporadic (sorry for the incomprehensible scheduling guys, gotta work on that) but the point is HERE WE ARE!

A year later. A year wiser (HA okay not really I just wanted to pretend for a second).

I started this blog when I was in Canada.

I flew back to New Zealand, did the best road trip of my life with my gorgeous sis, and then hightailed it to Sydney, Australia where I’m studying.

Jessie in Sydney

I spent six months living with my best friend in the world, sharing a room, sharing a bed (Sydney is expensive don’t judge) and having the most hilarious girly bonding experience ever.

I went back to see my family in New Zealand for my mum’s 60th and just recently for a Christmas holiday. I missed them hard every day I was away from them but the days I spent at home were the bomb diggity.

I finished a year of my masters in psychotherapy and six months of my own group and individual therapy as a client as part of my course (EYE OPENER, lol).

I did a tonne of yoga and running all over the place and started BBG last year which has been super exciting.

Now I’m ready to finish my study (FINALLY), get a real person full-time job again, maybe go to Hawaii?! (cos why not), and I have no idea which country I will be in by the end of 2016 but I am excited to blog my way through it all.

So yeah… good luck to you guys reading 😉

Have you ever lived overseas from your family? Where?

Biggest goal for 2016? Finish my masters!

  1. I think December may have been my 1 year blogging anniversary too! Oops, I missed mine too. I’ve enjoyed seeing your travels and learning about your life. Some parts very similar to mine (FMW for the breakfast win!), and others so different (taking a day at the beach “just because”!). We are wanting to take a trip to Hawaii soon, so if you land there you can give me all of the local tips! Getting your Masters degree is an awesome goal. Good luck on getting there soon and stress free (as much as possible)!

    • I didn’t realise, I thought you had been blogging way longer for some reason! Happy blogiversary! 🙂 Yeah no complaints here about the “just because” days at the beach! 🙂 Although that’s how I see your skiing adventures! I love seeing what you and your lovely family are up to and you are SO inspiring as a runner! Seriously, pure machine 🙂 It will definitely be soon for my masters (May!) although I can’t promise about the stress free thing 😉

  2. Great pictures. And I have been failing huge at blogging. Like…I have scheduled posts but I’ve been researching new cars and haven’t had time to catch up on what everyone else is doing!

Happy blogiversary! Finish some of those drafts — they deserve to see the light of day. And they’ll bring a smile to my face, I just know it!
