The one with yoga in pretty much the smallest of spaces

Yoga in a small space is the story of my life. For realsies. Having been a student forever I have spent the last several years living in a series of shoebox apartments (one was the shape of a pizza slice, good times) and so I have gotten reeeeeal good at squeezing myself into weird places to do yoga.

My current situation?

As you can see it would be easy for me to say there’s not enough space and use that as an excuse to not bother.

BUT that would be silly cos then I would not only be grumpy about my lack of space, I would also be grumpy because I didn’t get to do yoga which I enjoy and even more grumpy because yoga is the key way I manage grumpiness in general.

So yeah.

The point of me showing you this is to remind us all that there are always things that could put us off our yoga sesh/run/workout. Let’s use those very things as fuel to say YES it was hard/inconvenient/annoying BUT I did it anyway. I closed my eyes to block out the lack of space and had an even better/deeper/more delicious yoga sesh because of it.

And in the meantime- yoga for small spaces, for those of us living the eternal uni life 🙂

What is your home yoga space like? – Pinterest-esque or the SMALLEST SPACE EVER like mine?

Where did you live during college? – The dorms, with flatmates, a six months girly sleepover with Bestie, by myself for a little bit and now with Curtis 🙂 (I feel like I have been studying FOREVER ahhhhh).

What excuse could put you off your workout if you let it? – The lack of space drives me crazy sometimes for yoga and for BBG, as does the Australian heat! But both those things are definitely not real reasons to quit 🙂
