A little reading (random book but in line with my goals to read more in Italian)

And some major, MAJOR calf foam rolling – my calves are dying from my HITT workout on the weekend. After telling you that I don’t know why you would want to do the workout but here it is cos we runners/worker-outers are weird like that.

  1. High knees (30 seconds x 5) …. I think these are what destroyed my calves cos it’s been forever since I did them… enjoy 😉

I did 30 second planks after each 30 seconds of activity so the workout was 15 minutes. Oh yeah, and I wore ankle weights. Cos I’m crazy.

What was your workout today? 

Fave at home cardio move? – I had wanted to do a sprint HIIT workout outside but there was a torrential downpour so I got creative. High knees are always an easy at home cardio move for me (apart from the horrendous calf pain afterwards of course)

If you had to choose for the rest of your life- coffee or tea? – ….COFFEE ( I love tea too I just don’t need it to function 😉 ).

  1. So is it a crockpot meal most nights, or are you using a hot plate for most of your cooking? I would have to be quite creative with your kitchen situation!
    I’m a coffee (iced only!) fan. My workout today was walking all around Chicago on vacation. We walked 8.6 miles today. Whew!!!! I am beat.

    • Haha yeah we use the crock pot a ridiculous amount! and rice in the microwave and the non-stick electric pan thing for pretty much everything else… good times 😉 Hence why not many of my meals of blog worthy ha! Oh only iced coffee? Interesting! Do you like cold drip? I just changed jobs and they do incredible coffees at the new place! OOh Chicago sounds awesome can’t wait to read about it! 🙂

  2. AHHH thank you so much for the reminder to foam roll! My calves have been crazy tight recently but usually just when I run, so I always forget to do it as soon as I come inside. Looks like a killer at home workout you did- bookmarking to try out later!

    • I always forget too! Recently I have been getting soo sore from BBG it has been quite the reminder though! 🙂 Aw thanks girl def give it a go, it went by super fast but definitely hit the spot! 🙂
